so, on the off chance i haven't idled out yet, dropping~

for being a blogger and internet journalist (which is kindof like saying you're an athlete cause you walk up stairs sometimes) i'm shitty at updating journals.

i saw amy a few days ago. she's getting big. still waiting to see what her special charms are gonna be. for the love of all that is holy, i hope she doesn't take after me.

Hi everyone! I'm Brendon, and I just moved to Chicago (like literally, the movers don't get here with our stuff for another week) with my daughter, Amy. She's two, and her mom's not with us anymore as of recently, so I'm taking care of her. I didn't see her that much when she was with her mom by my own (stupid) choice, so I'm definitely still figuring out this whole daddy thing.

Does anyone know if two year olds are supposed to talk in their sleep? I'm paranoid.

Anyhow, I moved here with my best friend, Ryan, who I need to find and...well, I'm not saying cause I don't want him to know and he'll see it here. I guess some stuff about me...I grew up in Las Vegas. I lived in Seattle from age 18 until now. I'm Catholic, although you would never know it from how I talk, act, etc. I'm bisexual. I keep flipping out that uprooting Amy and moving her three months after losing her mom is a shitty parent thing to do, but I couldn't stand Seattle any longer. I needed out of there.

And I guess being completely new to this city, never having even been here before, I need friends. Possibly someone to show me and Amy around town? I have AIM, it's takebrennynow (hush, I made it in college). I guess I'll talk to some of you soon :)
